The Peltz CAVE Lab is our unique virtual reality CAVE (CAVE audiovisual environment) laboratory able to simulate real-world surroundings. The CAVE Lab includes an integrated multimodal platform that allows to monitor toddlers’ brain activity and behavior changes depending on the simulated world around them.
The CAVE is supported by the Wellcome Trust.
The room is equipped with:
- CAVE/ Unity incorporating getReal3D
- Motion tracking cameras
- Wearable neuroimaging
- Lab-based neuroimaging
- Shutter glasses
- Head-mounted eye-tracking
Using the CAVE

If you are interested in conducting a study in the CAVE, you will find all the information and steps on how to start a project here (DOCX). Any new study will be first evaluated by the CAVE Lab Management Committee to assess its feasibility.
At the CBCD, the safety of our young scientists comes first. In order to maintain a safe and friendly environment and workplace, we have set rules and regulations that applies to all that use the facilities at the CBCD.
