I am currently Senior Postdoctoral Researcher at CBCD, working primarily on the STAARS project.
Research Interests
I have worked on the BASIS / STAARS / SuperSTAARS and related projects for 16 years, initially while based at the Centre for Research into Autism & Education, Institute of Education and from 2013 to 2024 at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience, Kings College London
Trained as a speech and language therapist, my clinical and research interests have focussed primarily on the communication and language of autistic children and adults as well as diagnosis and intervention. I lecture at KCL and UCL in relation to early interventions for and assessment of autistic children and am a trainer in the assessment and diagnosis of autism
