Research Interests:
My research focuses on understanding how affectionate touch impacts the way children learn.
Positive touch has been linked to important aspects of children’s development, such as the formation of attachment security, self-regulation mechanisms, and, more broadly, physical and psychological wellbeing. My research aims at extending the current findings to explore the beneficial aspects positive affection has on learning outcomes.
My general interests include cognitive and affective neuroscience during early childhood.
