Research interests:

My primary research interest is looking at motor control and learning in typically developing individuals and individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders, such as developmental coordination disorder (DCD).

I am also interested in how functional brain networks differ in individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders, particularly when and how this differentiation occurs and how it translates to behavioural differences.

Curriculum vitae:

I completed my PhD at Goldsmiths, University of London in 2016. As part of my PhD research I investigated potential neural correlates of motor learning in adults with and without DCD using both electroencephalography (EEG) and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS).

Currently, I am working as a post-doctoral fellow within the London Down Syndrome (LonDownS) Consortium, assisting with experimental design and data analysis on the infant and toddler stream. The LonDownS Consortium is a multidisciplinary team of human geneticists, cellular biologists, psychiatrists, psychologists, neuroscientists, and mouse geneticists, whose aim is to understand the link between Down syndrome and Alzheimer’s disease, and to identify protective and risk factors that could inform interventions.
